There can be no nobler act than leading an institution that shapes capable professionals and responsible citizens.
Since the inception of Ashoka School Business our aim is to provide a scholastically exhilarating environment consenting our students to feel more responsible towards the society. It is pleasing to note that our intensive efforts under the auspices of Ashok Sailaja Educational Society have fructified and ASB today enjoys the distinction in the fields of Management Education with Tech-enabled Industry demand programs.
Our beliefs have influenced the way of teaching and make the students participate in philanthropy and social welfare. I have realized that there can't be a nobler act than to lead an educational institute like ASHOKA.
I strongly believe that education ought to be "good" or "moral" and for this reason it is important to groom the students morally for the real life of the corporate world and imbibe in them not only academic brilliance but also professional ethics.

The real test of management education begins when a student faces a problem with no textbook answer.
A student may understand marketing frameworks yet struggle to explain why customers are leaving. Another may calculate investment returns without recognising the risks behind them. Knowing a concept matters. Knowing how to apply it, question it and change course is what makes that knowledge valuable.
When education rewards the reproduction of answers while professional life demands independent judgement, students are left to bridge the gap themselves. Institutions must take greater responsibility for closing it.
At Ashoka School of Business, this conviction guides the learning environment we are building. Management fundamentals must connect with contemporary practice. Projects, simulations and internships should challenge students to investigate problems, test decisions and learn from feedback. Faculty expertise and industry experience must help them understand both what works and why.
The purpose is clear: students should be able to turn information into a recommendation, explain the trade-offs and take responsibility for their decisions. As technology changes how work is done, ethical judgement and the ability to question assumptions become even more important.
As Secretary, my responsibility is to help translate this purpose into everyday institutional decisions: where we invest, how we support faculty and colleagues, which industry relationships we build, and how we respond when students need more support. An initiative matters only when it improves learning.
Parents deserve clear expectations and honest communication. Students need both encouragement and challenge. Faculty need support to teach deeply, and industry partners need a meaningful role in connecting education with practice.
Our five-A philosophy—Ability, Adaptability, Analysis, Action and Achievement—brings these responsibilities into focus. We recognise individual ability, give students the time and support to adapt, and analyse their strengths and areas for development. We turn that understanding into focused action, helping each student work towards meaningful achievement.
At ASB, institutional growth must be reflected in the growth of our students—in the quality of their thinking, the problems they can solve and the trust they earn.
